After undergoing a multi millionaire investment that saw numerous upgrades take place throughout the exclusive resort property, the romantic Morgan Bay resort in St Lucia by Elite Island Resorts has recently been re-branded. It now goes by the name of St Jamess Club and has been fully re-launched to introduce guests to the newly revamped property.
Following months of ongoing renovations and upgrades that were carried out to enhance the quality of St Lucia holidays that the resort provided to guests, the refreshed property has been given a full makeover to fully represent the Elite Resorts brand after being acquired by the hotelier last January. The former Morgan Bay Beach Resort was bought by the Elite Island Resorts group at the beginning of this year when it was known as the Almond Morgan Bay Saint Lucia, part of the Almond group of resorts.
More than 20 refurbishment projects have been completed since including remodelling the swimming pools, upgrading the bar areas, buying new awnings and sunbeds and installing flat screen televisions in all 243 rooms.
The Elite Island Resorts group already owns the hugely popular St Jamess Club Resort, Antigua.
About the name change Rob Barrett, chairman of Elite Island Resorts, said: The formula at St Jamess Club in Antigua is an ideal match for what we have created as a result of our investment in Saint Lucia.
From the swimming pools to the new spa and guest rooms to restaurants, weve totally transformed the resort and now want to re-position and re-launch it into the market to reflect the upgrade.
Paula Whitehead added: St Jamess Club, Morgan Bay, Saint Lucia was closed for a month in September and it was a hive of activity. The whole resort has been given a facelift, with new paintwork, furniture, and redesign of the public areas. The result is truly impressive, everything is looking refreshed – even the beach area has been expanded and looks sparkling.
